You know what I love? Breakfast! You’ve probably noticed my toast-header image. That’s what I eat just about every morning - 2 pieces of multigrain oat bread with earth balance along with caffeine free herbal “black” tea with soy creamer. I wish I was eating that piece of toast right now. In the winter I like steel cut oatmeal with maple syrup or brown sugar instead of toast but I eat toast most mornings of the year. I like my ways. I’m set in them.
Other delicious things to eat for breakfast include pancakes, waffles, french toast and muffins. In conclusion, I love routines and bready carbs.
What do you eat for breakfast?

These days, I eat - sorry, I know you’re vegan! - scrambled eggs with salsa, plus a big glass of water. With that breakfast, I can get a chunk of my protein requirement for the day out of the way. I miss the bready carbs so much, though (pregnancy aversion) - as soon as this baby is born, I am eating all the carbs in the world.

I would kill for some pancakes right now!
I usually only have time for three spoons of cereal before I have to get Grandmother dressed. But maybe pancakes for dinner…hmmmm. You may have planted a seed!

pre- pregnant I skipped breakfast… pregnant… i eat what I can until it makes me sick one day then I find something else. That has included chick-fil-a biscuits, hard boiled eggs, a vast assortment of fruit, english muffins, toaster strudels. Recently I am trying mango and granola (not together). Since 6 weeks I have consumed 1 glass of chocolate milk every morning. This organic brand that you find at only one store in town… how cliche pregnant lady!

This week I ahve clients at work so I get to choose my breakfast from what they don’t eat. Today I had a plain bagel, toasted with real butter and seedless raspberry jam. I start my day at home with a very small cup of coffee with spl*nda and soy creamer.

Cereal (usually a Nature’s Path variety) with soy milk. And I never get sick of it. Lately I’ve been having slices of banana on top (not because I’m hoping for a boy: http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2008/apr/23/medicalresearch.children). I also have coffee with a little raw sugar- decaf when I’m TWWing and regular when I’m not.

I must admit that I am not much of a breakfast eater (unless it’s a weekend and we’re going out for breakfast). When I do eat it I might have some Fage Greek yogurt (with honey) or (less often) bacon and homefries (well done). I do love toast, though- especially rye, especially with butter.

My new favorite toast is made with “Yoga Bread”, it’s organic, multi-grain w/ cranberries and pumpkin seeds (plus a whole lot of other stuff) and I only use real butter!
I also make a decaf latte with whole milk and raw sugar and a smoothie:
1 banana
1 cup whole milk plain yogurt
1 cup berries/mango
splash of whole milk
squeeze of honey
2 T flax seed meal
2 T wheatgerm
Love My Breakfast!!

Mostly cereal, but I LOVE it! I love any kind of breakfast! Haven’t met a breakfast I don’t like.
